I've tanned at many salons, I even used to work in one that I considered to be one of the best (Darque Tan in Austin) Then today while I was at work I decided to google a tanning salon that was near my office here in Chandler next to the mall. Valla came up and I just decided since it was right here and next to my hair salon Dolce I'd go check it out. The minute I walked in the door I automatically thought I had gone throught the wrong door. This salon does NOT have that ""skin"" smell that EVERY salon has. It isn't even decorated like a tanning solan, no bright colors with posters of woman in bikinnis with perfect tan bodies. Its actually very soothing and upscale. I felt like I was in a spa/boutique atmosphere. I was immediatly greeted by a gentleman and not some 17 year old gum smacking brat on her cell phone which was a nice change. Instead of trying to sell me on a membership on the most expensive bed, he listened to what I wanted and what I was trying to do and actually knew what he was talking about. I am a natural redhead with brown eyes, I do tan and get very dark which is rare. Every year I go to a tanning salon and tell the person that I do infact tan and don't burn easily and they argue with me. Like I don't know my own skin! Not here, I was put in a bed for seven minutes (the max was twelve on the bed we chose) and I didn't burn. The misters in the bed were AWESOME! This is the best tanning salon I have ever been to or heard of! They offer starbucks coffee, or water and I believe tea...for free. Talk about customer service and quality! I am so excited about my membership I can't wait to tell my girlfriends! These are the best beds in the country! The price is worth it, stop wasting your time at other salons!
