Bearfoot Sachse has provided an excellent service to me and my children. They are a consistantly clean facility with a young and energetic staff. They stimulate the children's minds and bodies by offering a plethera of activities and learning opportunities. The facility is safe with admittance only by an assigned code. The classrooms educate the students by rotating the children to various classrooms. Each room offers a new lesson. They have a climbing gym for rewarding good behavior. They offer swimmming lessons during the summer months. There are various playgrounds that are isolated to different age groups. Ms. Gloria teaches Spanish to the students. She also has wonderful classroom management skills. Her mother is the cook and provides healthy menus. When there are discipline issues or an injury the parents are called immediately. \r

Discipline is important and they emphasize the need for parent involvement and student responsibility. My youngest child has a classmate with special needs. He is hyperactive and sometimes aggressive with my daughter and the other classmates. His parents are working with the Wylie school district and thier doctor to get a diagnosis and then help. All of these events would not have taken place if the Bearfoot leadership team had not dilivered the unpleasant news to the parents that his behaviors are out of the norm. In order for this child to remain at the school, the parents were told to get him help so not to hurt the other children. Bearfoot is very proactive when they see a child that may need a diagnosis. I recommend this private school. If you can't tell, I am a teacher and am accutely aware that all children can learn if given the proper foundation.
Pros: menus, security, activities, lessons, swimming, playgrounds, clean facility
Cons: High turnover rate for teachers, classroom size is too large.
