There are very few places in Austin family owned and operated. Veggie Heaven is one of Austin's best local restaurants. The food is fabulous, healthy, delicious and always hot! The variety on the menu is abundant and the vegetables taste as though they were just picked from the vine. I especially like the sauces and the chef will tailor the spiciness to my own taste. May and Stacey know me by name when I walk in the front door, greet me like an old friend coming over for lunch. I eat at Veggie Heaven almost every week.....my favorite dish..............the Lucky Seven!!! If you haven't been to Veggie Heaven you are missing out............my meat and potatoes husband loves it as much as I do....Voted Chronicles best veggie dish for many, many years!!!!
