i grew up near LA's Korea town, and can honestly say that Black Bear serves pretty good food. It's not the best, but it's very good. Give it a shot. My favorite is the Soon Dobu.
Pros: good food, friendly staff, ample parking
Cons: the atmosphere leaves something to be desired, it's located next to the skeezy tattoo place with the angry piercer
