My friend and I had drinks at the bar on a Saturday night. The female bartender completely ignored us and basically refused to serve us, probably because we were female and she was only serving the guys. The male bartender finally and very reluctantly took our drink orders - as if we were seriously inconveniencing him by buying $12 lychee martinis! (You wouldn't even be paying that much in Manhattan!) Then he ignored us again after that. We wanted to order some food, so we tried to catch his attention. After several minutes of avoiding eye contact, he rudely shouted at us, ""Are you going to keep staring at me, or do you want something?!"" If we weren't so hungry, we would've left then. We were absolutely horrified at this service (or, more accurately, lack of). We noticed that nobody lingered at the bar for very long, and it's no mystery why. Jade has cool decor, but their rude service and skyhigh prices will prevent me from ever returning.
Pros: Decor, close to LIRR and subway
Cons: HORRIBLE service, overpriced
