We are from San Francisco and very accostomed to excellent service and food. The Watermark lived up to California standard. Do not miss the grits souflle - it was excellent. I had the Buffalo filet and it was cooked to perfection. I'd never had Buffalo - but I'd have it again here! The pork loin was nicely prepared with rice and a sweet but not too sweet sauce. Pass on the lump lobster crab cake as an entree - not that good - bready and too large a cake. The wine list was extensive - a good selection. Dessert was a sample selction of southern pies - wow - lemon marignue, chess and chocolate pie. Beautiful presentation and really took me back to my childhood - I'm originally from Nashville. Decor was a bit stark. Go and have the grits!
