If I had written this review on Sunday I would have given them 5 stars -- the food and service were both great. The honey ginger tea was magnificant! However, today I ordered the same tea and it tasted like just water with a hint of ginger -- nothing like what I had on Sunday that was so good. So, I said ""This doesn't taste right"" and the waitress said ""Oh, we'll make it again."" She brings back another cup -- it tastes exactly the same! Just like water. Plus I reminder her that the $4 plus charge is for TWO cups of tea which is what the press makes. So she promises me she'll bring two cups next time. So, she comes back again with ONE cup of tea which, again tastes just like water -- no flavor at all. I could see her talking to the manager when I asked her add some ginger and I could tell the manager was upset with me and she just threw a few pieces of chopped ginger into the cup which, of course, did nothing. I should have asked for my money back but by that point I was so disgusted that I figured I'd just not go back again. The waitress was very sweet and wanted so badly to make me happy but the people in the kitchen obviously did not care at all about making a customer happy! I happened to start talking to another customer (I was there for over 1/2 hour just trying to get a cup of tea to go!) and she said that someone told her that Juliano said he doesn't want to hear about any of the problems in the kitchen. With that type of attitude they will not be in business much longer. It's a real pity though because the tea on Sunday was incredible. The customer I was talking to said they have one person, Jenny, who works only on weekends and is very good so maybe that's who made my tea on Sunday. Anyway, if you want GOOD and CONSISTENT raw food go to Euphoria loves Raw on Main Street or Leaf on Washington in Culver City. I'd avoid Juliano's like the plague unless you call ahead and make sure Jenny is working the day you visit.
Pros: Nice ambience - good sometimes
Cons: Inconsistent quality of food and drinks, rude management, expensive
