My wife and I recently stayed at the South Point. We chose it for the many amenities, including a shuttle to and from the strip and the airport, as well as the great rate we received on our room. The room was great, the bed was comfortable and the 42"" plasma t.v. was a nice touch as well. If you are thinking of staying at the South Point and are attracted to it because of the shuttle, you would be better served staying elsewhere. Our third night in Las Vegas we had to wait for two shuttles before we could finally get on one(limited seating capacity), and our last night in Vegas we waited for 45 minutes on the last shuttle(other guests had been waiting for over an hour. Worried that there would not be a last shuttle, several of us called the hotel and spoke with the Assistant Front Office Supervisor who informed us that there was nothing that she or the hotel could or would do for us in the event that the shuttle didn't arrive, and that we were more than welcome to call a cab!
