I was traveling from North Carolina down to Georgia when my car stopped on the interstate. It was about 10:30 at night on Saturday and I looked for a local number in Knoxville close to the exit on Interstate 40. I found Transmission Corporation of America in the Yellow Page diretory and phoned the # listed expecting to get an answering service or machine. However, a gentleman answered and had a tow truck to pick me and my car up within the half hour. I met the manager at the shop and he even drove me to a near by hotel and told me to get a good night's sleep and not to worry. He called me the very next day and set me up with a great rental car deal so I could continue on my way to see my family in Georgia. By the time I was on my way back to North Carolina the car was fixed and all I had to do was stop in, pay , sign some paper work and pick up my car. If it wouldn/t have been for the sweet young man I delt with I don;t think I would have been able to see my family. My trip would've been ruined if it wasn't for him and his crew working so hard to get me back on the road. I appreciate the freindly service I received and I thought it was so nice to get the call the following day after I left. He just wanted to make sure I made it home safely. This man is wonderful. I wish there were more auto repair places who had the same concern and care for their customers as this man did. I wanted to let all the people in TN know how much I appreciate the hospitality I received. The made a tragic experience turn pleasant.
Pros: nice to out-of-towners,
Cons: none
