For Valentine's Day I was given a gift certificate, it took me a while to get around to using it. I had a friend coming in from out of town so I booked my appointment for the Stress Relief Package and a Diva Package for her. They accomodated me with a last minute appointment. The morning of my appointment my friend called to tell me she wasn't going to be able to make it so I wound up taking my daughter instead. Upon arriving they were running behind due to two of their therapist's not showing up that day. They were so friendly and generally concerned about us being comfortable. It was a beautiful day so they invited us to sit out on the balconey while waiting, offered us lunch which we declined as we'd already eaten, so instead they provided us with the most delicious homemade fudge I've ever tasted and wine. The wait actually gave us time to relax before beginning the treatments so they were even more effective. The massage was to die for...hands like butter...just the right touch! Very professional and concious of modesty...took the time to explain everything. Salt glow was refreshing and left our skin like silk! The facial was fantastic also. It was a glorious day and in the end they even gave my daughter's package free for the inconvience. I believe things happen and a place is not to be judged by having a difficult day as long as they handle it well and show the customer that they care...Boardwalk Day Spa definitely did a perfect job of that! The atmosphere is awesome as well...rose petals and all! Top Notch without the Stuck up Attitude! I WILL be back!
Pros: Quaint setting...THE FUDGE!...Friendly...professional
Cons: Had a long wait but things happen sometimes....definitely made up for!
