I took my laptop to Mr. Notebook (the one near 24th street near UT campus) because it wasn't starting up. When I took it there, Mr. Notebook said that a video chip had been corrupted and that I needed to replace the motherboard and it would cost $600. When I asked Mr. Notebook the name of the video chip so I could look it up on the net, the technician (Sam) was very rude and told me that there are so many different names that it was impossible to know which one I had (which is strange, because you think if they looked at the chip like they said they did, they could have told me what chip I had). When I asked for what website might talk about the corrupted chip, the guy was really rude and told me to look it up myself.\r \r I decided not to fix the computer and it was completely unusable in its state.
