I think there are a couple places with better fish, but for the price you simply can't beat ebisu. The omakase is usually excellent, though the large size can vary considerably, it is probably the best bet. The tempura is also better than most, light and not at all greasy with a nice range of vegetables. Great cocktails, but skip the somewhat small wine list. The service is usually great, even though it tends to get very crowded. Another big plus is the late hours, which are a great benefit in sleepy SD where everything closes a little too early.
