I was excited about this place. It sounded kitchsy & cool. I went there on a Monday afternoon around 4:30 or 5, so it wasn't a busy time of day. The place was kinda dead, and didn't look NEAR as cool inside as I thought it would be. We were confused about which door to go in and where to go to order. I am a meat-eater, but I LOVE fresh homemade veggie burgers. I decided to try to veggie burger and get the mac & cheese. My dad got chicken tenders. That was the WORST veggie burger I have ever had. I didn't even finish it (which is rare for me). The mac & cheese was not too bad. It tasted homemade, so that was good. My dad's chicken tenders were really good, but he said there wasn't anything special about them. At one point the manager came over and asked how everything was and I just said ""Fine."" Then as he walked away I kind of wished I had told him how horrible the veggie burger was. Sometimes I don't know how to be honest without it sounding rude, so maybe it would better I didn't say anything. \r

I heard the owners also own Bar Twenty3, which I LOVE, and go to ALL THE TIME, and I am even friends with a guy that works there, and I've had my birthday, and my boyfriend's birthday there, so I was kind of expecting PPTR to be something really special too. I am actually really disappointed b/c I was excited about this place opening. Oh well... I work downtown, so maybe I'll check it out again. I hope they improve, b/c it COULD be a cool place. Work on the interior a little more!!!!
Pros: Ummmm, It's downtown, open late...
Cons: WORST VEGGIE BURGER IN TOWN! (Bricktops on the other hand it DELISH!)
