There's a reason you might have to wait a while to get a table here: this place is fri**en awesome! I am lucky enough to live within walking distance of Nurnberger, which is great because their beer list is very extensive. The service is always very warm and friendly, and traditional German music is always audible over the crowd without being blaring or anything. I've had a bunch of dishes here, but I usually get the Sauerbraten because it is so good. They also have really good escargot, but it naturally has a German name that I can't remember. The portions are really big for the prices - enough to put you into an instant food coma and still have some left for lunch or dinner the next day. This place is one of my two favorite restaurants in Staten Island and top five in all of NYC.
