I have made 5 purchases from Byers Imports. My most recent attempt was ended quickly... when the manager, Heath Maynard, told me he would offer me "auction value" on my vehicle, but confirmed he would ask "Kelly Blue Book retail" on my purchase. Hmmm. take half as much on my trade in and sell me a car for twice what they purchased it for. He was shocked when I didn't think it was fair.. I would expect more for a repeat customer that happily walked away with any offer given in the past.. Maybe I'm naive and just caught on to their game this go-around. We won't be purchasing any more vehicles from them!!! I don't think it would be worth the drive if they "gave us a vehicle". One more thing that should have posed a red flag... but gave the benefit of the doubt.. On our last purchase of a Lincoln LS, he "rushed" us out the door stating he had a hockey game to go to and if we took much longer deciding (we had been there 20 minutes) some one else would have to finish the transaction). Unless you are there to buy a Jaguar or a Porche, they will not give you attention or the time of day. I'm sure if you intend on buying one of the two, they will make sure you pay too much.
Pros: customer care is decent
Cons: you pay big bucks for the customer care, trade-in, a bit snobbish
