Sugo has become the home away from home for my group of friends whenever we are in town. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, the music (generally soft italian opera) and lighting are both just right, and the service is always well informed and attentive. The dishes are all masterpeices, truly new ways of cooking here in the states. I have tried most of the tapas and several of the entrees and have yet to be dissapointed. There is an excellent choice on the menu for a good variety of foods. I really enjoy the pizza rollatini, lamb saltimboca, hunters sausage, aunt lena's chicken, the salads, and any special I have ordered has yet to let me down. Wine flows freely and the desserts leave you wanting to order every one on the menu, especially the bomba and the tiramisu. I would highly reccomend Sugo for a private party - the last time I was there I peeked in on a group that had reserved the back patio, probably at least 50 people! There were christmas lights and candles and such a festive and jovial feeling in the air I wished I was a part of it. Sugo will continue to be the meeting spot for my friends and I whenever we are in Atlanta.
