I asked a question about the salmon dish on the menu (wild or farm-raised) and the server hesitantly told me it must be wild. I asked him if he was sure (as wild is preferable to me) and he said yes. When my dish came I could see and taste clearly that it was not wild, so I told him it wasn't, to which he replied, ""Yes, it is."" I had him ask the kitchen, and upon his return he admitted it was not in fact wild. He did not offer to discount and he did not apologize; instead he was nonchalant and did not seem poised to be a fine dining server.
