Went to this location for the 3rd year in a row. Drove 60 miles to buy flowers. Told the owner I wanted to spend $300.00 on wave petunias. Owner has at least 30 baskets on display and tells me he has nothing for sale. Everything must be pre-ordered by March 1st. Why would you have something on display that is not for sale? He tells me that he only sold 4 of these last year, well I purchased 3 of them, so I must be his best customer in 2006. Common sense, as well as Business 101 tells any good business manager that if a customer has cash to spend take it from them and put it in the cash register. Displays are sold when the merchandise on the shelf is gone. Very poor service and explanations as to why merchandise on display from the road is not available. Will never travel to Elwood again to buy plants, what a rip off!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Beautiful Flowers
Cons: Flowers on display, not for sale. Using teasers to get folks to stop but cannot buy!!!
