As far as thrift shopping goes this business is one of the larger in Montgomery. I must admit it takes me a couple of minutes to get over the musty smell when I walk in the door. It is a warehouse setting (old grocery store, I think), with concrete floors and used clothes, furniture, and household goods for sale. I guess it's going to smell musty. I have found some great bargains in this store. Usually they have tags on the clothes that have been color coded. On occasion I've been in when they put a sign up saying a center color tag is on sale. Sometimes that sale price is as low as $.50. They also carry a wide assortment of childrens books & toys. Great for outside play. The building is huge, therefore I suggest going when you have plenty of time to shop. Looking for clothes does require doing a little searching. But, the way I see it, if you can buy a pair of name brand pants for $.50, it's worth spending a little bit of time looking for!
