We were in Tucson on business and thought we'd try Ra. I'd been to the one in old Scottsdale and remembered it being good sushi and a fun scene. Ra in Tucson (on a Thursday night) was packed full of young and beautiful people and the bar was poppin' but they forgot the sushi. The fish was so-so at best and some items were plain bad (the lobster wontons). The rolls have so many western ingredients it's hard to judge them as sushi. I recommend going for drinks and the action and maybe a couple of choice appys but a full dinner is sure to disappoint.
Pros: Good scene, good talent, cool decor
Cons: Marginal sushi, zero authenticity
