We went there on a Monday night and the restaurant was pretty full. We got sat at 720pm and we got our appetizer pretty quickly but our drinks didn't come until after we were done eating our appetizer (we thought it was weird to get the drinks after the food though). We kept hearing them apologizing to the other tables about being short staffed but they didn't say a word to us. At about 8:05pm, they still didn't get our dinner orders and totally were ignoring us. So we left a $20 bill to cover the appetizer and drinks and decided to go. We told the lady in the front what happened and that we were leaving and that was when she apologized to us and told us to keep our $20. \r

We went to all the trouble of taking the ferry to go to Cafe Nola (recommended by a friend) just to waste almost an hour of our time just waiting and being ignored and all the while we were starving. Nobody came to our table and told us the situation (short staff, etc) which is what they were doing at other tables. I've worked in a restaurant before and we've had situations like that but we NEVER ignored any of the customers and we took their dinner orders at a reasonable time. This situation is totally INEXCUSABLE for this kind of place (""nicer"" place). The food may be good (we never got a chance to taste it though), and it seemed like they had some loyal patrons, but we won't be one of them. \r
