Best Cajun Food in PA!!! 4/24/2007

I've been to this restaurant three times over 2 years, and it's been consistently excellent. Atmosphere is cozy, service was friendly, even though they were busy every time I've been there (and I've only dined there on typically ""non-busy"" nights, like Mondays, Tuesdays, etc). The menu prices range from around $7 or $8 for their ""Po-Boys"", and head up into the teens to very low twenties for the etoufees and heartier stew type dishes. Exceptionally well priced menu for the quality, as well as the quantity of food- I've always left with over half my meal in a doggie bag which then is at least two more meals at home. When you go, you must try the ""Cajun Popcorn"", which is battered crawfish tails with a creole mustartd sauce- I always take an order of those home with me. Of course, the jambalaya and crawfish bisque are also must-have starters here. They do have standard fare as far as filet mignon and a variety of chicken dishes, but even those have a creole twist to them. Being near Philadelphia, Crawdaddys offers several cheesesteak options, even an alligator cheesesteak (which I've never been brave enough to sample). Bottom line, I cannot reccomend this restaurant enough! If you are looking for authentic, fabulous, and surprisingly inexpensive cajun cookin', look no further than Crawdaddy's! Pros: Food, prices, extensive menu, even vegetarian options Cons: parking can be tight during peak hours more
