COMPLAINT ACTIVITY REPORT Case # 67079899 B e t t e r B u s i n e s s B u r e a u\r \r I had a 60"" Pioneer Projection TV fixed in March of 2006. The housecall was $75.00 and the repair was $567.10 and was paid in full. The TV still had an issue with screen focus and loss of picture on the edges and was finally addressed in October of 2006 after many, many calls and messages. My uncle came over to let the technician in and observed him tapping components inside the TV with a screwdriver trying to get the intermittent problem to reoccur. While banging around inside the TV the tech threw off the blue convergence. Now the screen still has the same issue that was being addresed and now the picture has a neon-blue halo around the other colors. The tech called me and said ""it happened while he was fixing it and it is common and was probably just a coincidence"". I told the tech to get his tools and get out of my house. The still-broken TV was now MORE broken. I have tried unsuccessfully to deal with these people like a gentleman and have left numerous messages and have not had a response. If I call and identify myself - I am hung up on. I have secured an attorney at my own expense and intent to follow-up with a small-claims case. \r \r \r I want my money back- Period. That's all! The TV is useless - STILL after a year and I am going to dispose of it and buy a new one. The experience I had with 'TV Time' will never be experienced by anyone that I can steer away from these people. Pros: Quick and professional. Took my money quickly. Cons: Failed to fix the original problem - created two more while trying. I paid to have my TV ruined. more
