I have been to San Lorenzo?s repeatedly. The food is not the exotic Mexican that many of the restaurants try to serve in this area. It is the familiar Tex-Mex that we have all come to know and love. They do a good job of the basics and there is plenty on the plate. They are always cordial and helpful and you don?t have to send out a search party for a waiter when you need one. The tables are close together making the place a bit crowded but that?s about the only negative I have noticed. Note that the place is packed on nights and mobbed on the weekends. Try to go there after the lunch rush during the week for a quieter experience.
Pros: Food is familiar and there is lots of it. The people are friendly and concerned and the service is what you would expect from a sit down dinner experience.
Cons: Tables are close together making it a bit difficult for large people such as myself to get around.
