HORRIBLE! TAKE THIS WARNING FROM A VEGAN AND STAY AWAY!!! 4/30/2007

SUMMARY: WET, COLD MUSH ENTREES THAT ARE NOTHING LIKE THEIR WONDERFUL SOUNDING DESCRIPTIONS, COMPLETELY OVERPRICED FOR THE PORTION SIZE FROM REVIEWERS WHO AREN'T CHEAP, RUDE, LECTURING, LYING WAITRESS, BOYFRIEND SICK WITH WORST DIAREAHHA OF HIS LIFE AFTER EATING THERE, I AM VEGAN AND HE REGULARLY EATS VEGAN WITH ME SO TRUST US WHEN WE SAY STAY AWAY! After the mixed reviews, my boyfriend & I decided to give it a shot based on the reviews that were positive. We couldn't understand the fuss about the prices - $14 seemed reasonable for an entree. We started w/ the jalapeno poppers as an appetizer. For $8 we were brought 5 little shriveled up jalapenos. It seemed like a joke that a restaurant would actually consider that an appetizer. My boyfriend described the dish as something that looked like cat excrament. Upon seeing the appetizer he inquired about the portion size of the entrees & was promptly lectured by our waitress about portion sizes being abnormal in America & that is why there is such obesity & European meals are better portioned and on and on and on. This space cadet waitress I also believe lied to us saying they didn't have zuchini fries when we wanted to change our appetizer order before we ever saw the disaster of an appetizer with the jalapenos. At first she said, oh sure they're the same price and then looked at the menu and saw that the jalapenos were more expensive and said you know what, i forgot, we're out of zucchini fries. I ordered a pasta dish and he ordered the special, which was quiche. Words like pasta, mushrooms, alfredo, etc. were used to describe this dish. I would accurately describe as a scoop of shredded cucumbers with way too much of a thick hummus-like dressing spred on top. We could have made a better meal eating the shrubery off the fence. I sent my entree back and the waitress proceeded to lecture me, which I promptly put to a halt. They did take it off the bill but charged $19 for the nut mush they called quiche. Cons: A Terrible Excuse For Food, Rude, Lecturing Waitstaff, Overpriced for Portion Sizes more
