The starter had gone bad in my Toyota truck and I took it to Polly's on Belmont.... it was a mistake, they quoted me an insane price to replace it. I picked up my truck and the mechanic there said ""she'll be back"", what a j*rk! I started searching for a new mechanic and found Autotech on citysearch. The glowing reviews are all true. Emil is a really good guy and keeps an amazing shop. He put in the starter for $125 less than what Polly's quoted and when I asked if I needed a tune up he and one of his mechanics gave my car a little check up for free and told me I could bring back the car as soon as I was ready for regular maintenance. Plus, his garage is the cleanest and coolest garage I've ever seen, the floors are painted white!! It is so good to have a trustworthy and good mechanic. These guys are the best, hands down. I would stay away from Greg's on Main too - charged me $160 for a tow and told me there was nothing wrong with my car before I found out it was the starter. Places like Autotech and guys like Emil make you feel like there are still good people in the world.
