This was a wonderful shop with excellent personal service by both the owner and the staff. Though the shop was very busy with tourist traffic, we were given a 'mini' knitting lesson for free. We spent parts of two days visiting the shop, making decisions and minor purchases, and everytime we entered the store we were greeted like old friends. It's unusual in this day and age to be treated with such friendliness. The shop was stocked with beautiful displays, gorgeous yarns, patterns and supplies as well as all kinds of other novelty items for shoppers not interested in knitting. Only downside? The shop is moving to Seattle! We will be sure to check out their new shop, as well.
Pros: Beautiful, friendly little store - nice music - nice folks.
Cons: Lots of products for sale that had nothing to do with yarn or knitting.
