I've actually never written a citysearch review before, although I often rely on them to find companies in the area. My husband and I just bought a house. The previous owners smoked and we were aware of this, but didn't realize how bad the cigarette smoke and nicotine damage was until all their furniture was moved out and we got in for a final look. Talk about terrible! I found ASC through citysearch reviews and called them to set up an appointment.\r

I couldn't be there for the appointment, but my husband said they were fantastic people that explained the whole process to him, showed a sample cleaning area, and gave an honest assessment of what could and could not be done to save the carpet. If we had the money, we'd probably replace it all to completely get rid of the smell, but a carpet cleaning from ASC is the next best thing!\r

When I got home I could tell an amazing difference in the carpet. There are some hard to reach spots along the wall where there are years of nicotine build up. Thom showed my husband how we could clean those areas ourselves if we did not want to incur more costs. Since we're expecting our first child in June,. we opted to schedule another appointment and have them come back and work on those spots for us. The carpets already look a 100% better than they did before -- which is saying a lot when you think about 8 years of nicotine build-up on the floor.\r

I would HIGHLY recommend ASC to anyone and I'll be keeping their number to use again in the future!
