Unfortunately I Gave Toro A Second Chance 3/20/2007

I ate at Toro for the first time in December and was not impressed. The service was awful and the food was so-so. My friends wanted to try it so I decided to give it a second chance. I should have went with my first impression. Not only was the second time around bad, it was worse than the first time I ate there. I ordered the Lemon Grass Jumbo Shrimp as an appetizer and shared the Paella as an entree with my boyfriend. The rice was overcooked and sticky and the fish tasted ""fishy"", usually meaning that it is bad. When we told our server about the food we were greeted with a snide remark and alot of attitude.\r I read through some of the reviews on here to see if anyone else had similar experieinces and was surprised to see some of the positive reviews. What really caught me by surprise was the own written by the owner of Toro (see review authored by Mars2011). You know something is up when an owner has to write their own review. Toro has seen the last of me. \r \r Pros: Decor Cons: Poor & Rude Service, Overcooked and Old Food, Location more
