I just moved into Brooklyn a few months ago from Manhattan. I was told to check out Stan's Place for brunch. Apparently they have one of the best brunches in the neighborhood. And now I can see why. My boyfriend and I had the Bubba's Big Breakfast, which comes with eggs, creamy grits, biscuits and bacon, and a shrimp po boy served with seasoned crispy home fries. I can truly say our appetites were fulfilled. The atmosphere was very welcoming with a balcony/mezzanine that overlooks the dining room. They also had a great selection of music playing. Even though Stan?s Place had a full house the charming waitresses were so friendly and the service was fairly prompt. I also had a great cup of Creole coffee made from the cafe du monde blend. Make sure you save room for the beignets. They do it fresh for each order!!
