After a brief and unpleasant stay at another facility, I decided to move my mother to the West Hills Convalescent Center. We have found this to be a very nice facility with well-trained and friendly staff. The building itself is not exactly new, but it appears to be well maintained and clean. Compared with the place we had my mother previously, the WHCC offers far more of everything (qualified help, comfort, activities...) for slightly lower cost. I would recommend that those looking to place their parents in adult care stay away from small facilities run out of individual homes. They often lack the qualified staff necessary to treat patients with special needs.
Pros: Great staff, central location, clean facilities
Cons: Waiting list
