We had a broken spring on our wood roll up garage door. After calling around via Yellow Pages (which, by the way, WATCH OUT - there's one company in AT&T book that is ripping off people with what looks like many company ads but is one so you call to get quotes from the same company which is overpriced...yikes)...my wife got frustrated from all the disception. So we talked to a neighbor who used Madden Door and was really happy.\r
Wow, all I can say is wow - so honest - Madden first really helped over the phone by clarifying what mattered to us first, then SOLVED EVERYTHING - our wood garage door was kind of falling apart from weather, and while it needed a spring, Madden suggested that it may not last long, given the door's condition. So they did a clamp-off of the spring as a temporary repair and informed us of the options, made it really easy for us, didn't try to over or undersell, but really strived to sell what was right for us. \r
In the end, we have a nice new insulated steel door that is STRONG, QUIET, BUILT TO LAST and was very well priced! And that was accomplished because they obviously knew to ask us questions which helped give them an understanding of what we wanted as customers. \r
I'M TAKING MY TIME TODAY BECAUSE IN TODAY'S AGE, IT IS SO RARE TO FIND AN HONEST COMPANY LIKE MADDEN DOOR & SONS - It's no wonder that some family-owned businesses will always remain competitive with outstanding service and integrity in what they do. \r
TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO USE MADDEN DOOR AND SONS - THEY ARE IN MARTINEZ, AND \r
NEVER have I wanted to recommend a company so much! They also have a really good website (maddendoor. com).
Pros: Honest, Professional (clear in communicating - asked questions, provided solutions that mattered to us)
Cons: Hard to find any cons for Madden Door.
