I've been taking my cars to Leo since he opened back in 1998. He is always up front with the me and my cars. If something is needed, he lets you know. If someone has told you that you need something, he'll evaluate it and let you know if you actually do. On my first experience, one of my cars was only firing on a few cylinders and puffing smoke badly after a previous visit to a so called mechanic. Their opinion was that it needed a new engine. I took it to Leo and he spotted the unplugged fuel injector and the engine came back to life. He then drained the antifreeze from the tailpipe and sent me on my way. I can tell you this is the most honest and knowledgeable mechanic I've ever dealt with. This is a true technician who will identify a problem and not just throw parts at a problem. Over the years, he has backed up this honesty with everything else I've brought to him. If I have a question about how something works, he takes the time to explain it. With a much broader knowledge than the dealers, Leo knows his Porsches and works on all of them. I've seen everything from 356's to supercharged 911's to race cars there. If you want to supercharge your Boxster, have a service done on your 924, or even convert your old daily driver to a track car at Sebring, he knows them all and has the factory training to back it up. Bring your car and find out for yourself.
Pros: A good honest mechanic at a convenient location.
