Sushi Sake offers a little known menu selection called Shabu Shabu. It's difficult to find outside of L.A. and San Fransisco, but Sushi Sake hits a home run with their rendition. Shabu Shabu is Japanese for ""Swish swish"", a reference to the motion you use to cook your own thinly sliced beef and veggies (using chopsticks) in a boiling bowl of water. Rarely served the same way twice, it has always been nothing less than superb. Unfortunately they do not serve this dish on weekends.
Pros: Shabu Shabu, Cleanliness, Ambience
Cons: No Shabu on weekends
