Upon arrival we see the lobby under construction, carpet ripped up, ceiling torn up and construction lights hanging all over the place. It would have been nice to have been informed of the renovations to the lobby upon making the reservations. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the walls and windows are not sound proof. From about 7:30am until 6pm we could here construction workers on the 4th floor drilling, sawing, etc. This didnt bother us to bad as we were out of the room by 11am and didnt return until 9pm. Well, at 8pm the band in the lounge starts up and on the third floor we could hear every note and lyric. On top of this every time a plane would take off or land it would shake the window. I guess I cant complain too much being that this is a glorified Clarion. Would I stay here again, NO. It seems to be a popular place for those not wanting to pay the high rates at Opryland and those not interested in downtown/midtown Nashville. Also, the hotel is located in a pretty sketchy part of town. If you're looking for a cheap airport layover hotel or an alternative to Opryland then this place will probably serve you well. Otherwise pay the extra money and stay at Union Station, Lowes vanderbilt, etc.
Pros: Nice bed, close to airport and Opryland
Cons: Unfriendly staff, thin walls, bad location, overpriced
