My wife and I stopped in for our first visit and had lunch. Prompt seating and the waitstaff was attentive. Our meals were served promptly and the hot food was served hot. We were impressed with the buttermilk fried chicken and the fried crawfish, all perfectly cooked with a crunchy batter to hold in the juices. Sadly the restaurant's interpretation of red beans and rice leaves MUCH to be desired. Instead of being creamy and smooth, they were thick and dry, more like refried beans with an overpowering of thyme. Our crawfush salad was fresh and well presented, but too much thyme was used in the vinaigrette dressing, as well. Overal not bad, but not up to New Orleans standards. We'll give them another try one of these days......
