I have purchased appliances and had service done by them. When we first got a fan hood from them, they sent someone over and for several days did not get back to us regarding installation. I had to call several times to talk to the manager regarding timing for installation. After several days, he said the person he sent over said the hood cannot be installed. Then he said he will ask his friend to come over. Again after at least one week's wait, his friend has not called. I had to call several times. At the end, he said his friend was too busy. The final answer was that he could not install it. The owner did not let us return either (the hood was still sitting in its box). We almost had to go to consumer protection agency to seek help. Finally, we had the duct custom made and install it ourselves. That just shows how incapable his installation people are. Then it comes to our dish washer. The dish washer was installed by the builder incorrectly, the door was a little damaged. My first service call with them was ok. The repair person was nice and the job was done after several trips but we still do not have the lower panel (just cosmetic). Last Friday when I put in a service call because it started leaking (it was 6 months old) they said they would come out on Saturday. Saturday morning the technician called and said due to the storm, he was behind. I told him that it was not that urgent so he does not need to rush to my house and that he can come back Monday or Tuesday. Nobody called me on Monday or Tuesday. When I called back, they had to put me down for Wednesday afternoon. When I explained that I might need to go to work, they told me the earliest would be Friday morning. The receptionist did acknowledge that my name was on the board to be rescheduled and she does not know what nobody called me. My opinion of Hunter Appliance is extremely rude manager, staff not helpful, technicians are ok. If not because the builder uses them, I would never have gone there.
Pros: Technicians are nice.
Cons: Rude manager.
