I've been a miami lakes resident and patron of Shulas 2 for years. The menu which consisted of original items like the veggie roll and steak soup was replaced for a carbon copy of Houstons menu. Their happy hour = .50cents off the regular price (house brands only) and the Sunday brunch which used to be extensive is very limited now. I quit going to the brunch when i saw items from the brunch on the lunch buffet the following day. Its almost 9.00 for a black label on the rocks. They had local radio station WQAM broadcasting live there, then brought in second rate 790. All the great bartenders that used to give good service and conversation have left, and it's my understanding that they have had several Chefs in just a couple years, which leads me to believe that Shulas has lost touch with what lures customers and keeps them. The only highlight of the Shulas2 experience remaining is their Emcee Dave, who offers up trivia, and seems to know right away if he can get a particular game on for you. When Dave finally leaves my years long patronage with Shulas will have gone from frequent, to seldom, to never. Everyone i've talked to seems to feel the same way. Pros: Dave, lots of TVs Cons: Overpriced drinks and food, lousy service. more
