We decided to try Amada recently as it is close by and when we strolled in, we were pleasantly surprised. I had no idea how large the restaurant was and stylish with the various rooms (my favorite is the back bar area), and it certainly beats out other tapas places across the city. The staff was knowledgable, professional and seem to enjoy working there and were very accomodating, given we had no reservation and they were packed on a Sunday night. All the food from the meats, to the cheeses (truffle dip and garlic du leche were excellent) to the vegetarian options (white truffled asparagus) and homemade desserts, were delicious. The wine list had so many amazing Spanish and Southern American choices which the staff was on the mark in selecting and recommending to suit our tastes. Great place for a date, a girl's night out or a business meeting and conveniently located.
