Decently O.K 2/9/2007

Britghtwood has the problem of being densly packed in with little space to offer a outstanding course. This leads to certain problems: first and foremost, the course is repetetive, with only three real original holes. The course follows the typical parkland style: lots of trees and lots of water. The individual hole follows this lay out on 6 holes (9 hole course): elevated tee to water sogged fairway, in between some trees and water hazards to a elavated green. The first exception to this is one of my favorite holes for a par three, the fifth hole. The hole is square to Silver Lake Road and it is to an elevated green, all the way up hill, unlike most holes on the course and it bends to the left around a unshakable forest of trees with out of bounds behind. The hole is a lot like an anthill with a bush to the short left of it, in any direction it goes down dramatically. This hole takes the most amount of shot making prowess for any par three I have ever seen, regulation, excecutive, or more
