Last night I called Roberts to get advice on how to treat my dog's diahrrea. I had foolishly changed her dog food and she had had a bad stomach for 2 days. I was hoping for advice on food or drugs to help her.\r

I was told to come in (preferably before 8 because then the emergency room costs jump to 125.00). We got there about 7:50, waited a bit, and then were seen.\r

The dog was obviously not sick--she wagged her tail, played with the staff, was bright and alert. However, the dr. decided to do tests, etc. just in case which is good care I agree, however, one hour later and almost $400 later, we left.\r

Yes, it's my fault for being dragged through this: 1) I knew the dog was really OK and that she was sick from the food change 2) I brought the dog in (oh and they charged me $125 even though we were there before 8) against my better judgment, 3) I DID NOT ASK WHY THEY WERE DOING TESTS AND HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST.\r

So beware, the next stomach ache your dog gets may cost you $400 and
more
