I'm a recent Inase converter from Poke. Poke is still great but it's getting way too packed. So Inase comes as a nice alternative. Their sushi select is large, and very authentic. Which means, don't just order only tuna, and do expect to try something new. Appertizer options are quite unique, something kinda hard to find even on UES. Owners are both working the tables & behind the counter, so you can strike up a nice conversation & ask them what's fresh of the day. (They flown in their fish from Japan). You know this is THE place when you walk in and and see only Japanese families. There is no loud crowd, only groups who truly enjoy real Japanese seafood.
Pros: Fresh fish, unique selection
Cons: sake price kinda high
