This is a neat restaurant located downtown near Beale St. and other attractions. Our friends introduced us to this place and we chatted with the owner for a few minutes over dinner. They have great American fare with a southern slant ? burgers, fried dill pickles, sandwiches, etc. but they also have prime rib, surf & turf and lobster. The food is excellent ? I had the prime rib. It was very tasty and not overcooked. Others at my table had a burger, fish ?n chips and the BBQ nachos ? all were excellent. \r

The atmosphere is like a mountain lodge with trophy animals displayed on the walls. There is a juke box with thousands of songs, a great bar and very friendly and helpful wait staff. \r
