I was visiting my cousin in Queens and me (and the rest of my family - about 15 of us) were starving. He recommended Alba's Pizzeria. So we drive up, it looks like a pizza place. Fine, whatever, I thought. We go to the back, nice enough seating area. Whatever.\r

Then the food comes. The garlic bread is hot. And delicious. I thought, well, let me wait for the meal before I get too excited. The pasta comes. Penne vodka. I am just stunned. It is delectable, I literally could not stop eating it. I got the veal for my meal. It is just outstanding. My dish was veal topped with eggplant, prosciutto, and cheese. \r

My cousin tells me the cook is a guy who is actually from Sicily.\r

I can honestly say, besides my own mother, this is the best Italian food I have ever had. And I've been to a lot of restaurants! \r
Pros: The food was just outstanding, the service was great
Cons: Not sure if it's a con, but you would never guess how good the food is from the store front
