On a vacation trip to Boston, our party of 5 arrived on Friday night at 7:30 PM in February. The restaurant was not crowded, so it was disappointing that service was not faster. However, the food was very good, a little pricey, we spent on average $40.00 per person with before tip with no alcohol. The Sirloin was very good, as were the scallops (but only 4). The Salmon was very flavorful and the potion was a nice size. I was informed that the credit card processing machine is ""ancient"" and the cause for it taking 15 minutes to run our credit cards, so unfortunately we missed our cab. Surprising that the computers associated with this MIT hotel restaurant are not up to date. So, the food is good, but service when we went was not timely. Suggestion: Make sure you get the chowder.
