I was a bit puzzled by such a wide range of reviews, so last Monday I took a large group from work there for lunch. It was the first time for all of us. Only 4 meats are served at lunch: chicken, sausage, filet mignon, and sirloin. They were all excellent. Keep these 2 things in mind: 1) on a long skewer, there usually will be a range of ""doneness"" among the chunks of meat, and 2) the servers are happy to bring you exactly what you want. So if you say ""Please bring me some of that filet that is much more red next time"", they will be happy to oblige. The salad and food bars are pretty good, though I would like to have more vegetable choices. The only disappointment though was the desserts. I tried 4 of them, and every single one was mediocre at best. Overall, Brasa provides a nice and comfortable atmosphere and very good food, but the desserts do not meet the expectations that would typically go along with a restaurant of this caliber, location, and price level.
Pros: Excellent meats and very good food and salad bars.
Cons: Desserts.
