I went into Dr. Eppley's operation room for a facelift in perfect health on April 18, 2001. I awoke from anesthesia unable to breathe, with my tongue obstructing my airway. I have not been able to breathe or swallow normally since that day. In omitting a crucial step of my operation, he literally created a contracture in my neck, preventing me from lifting my head, extending my neck and closing my jaw. I have lived with the torture of his ineptitude for nearly 6 years.
