After spending 10 months in Germany, I was craving ""traditional German food"" and thought I would try this recommended restaurant. I was appalled at the quality of the food. I had the Geschmorter Scheinsbraten, which this restaurant served as slices of pork which tasted like deli meat with cheap canned gravy and a side of canned sauerkraut. The ""traditional bread dumplings"" (Knodels) they served were small slices of wet french bread fried on one side - think half cooked french toast. The general taste was of a cheap frozen dinner. Needless to say Der Braumeister charged $17 for this meal, you can make at home for $3.
Pros: Good Beer
Cons: Cheap Quality Food
