I just finished a 6 week training session with Christine, the owner of Kor, and could not have been happier. I packed on the pounds over the holidays and decided to finally do something about it. I have been a member of Bally's for years and could not stand going there anymore and working on my own at home was not cutting it. After six short weeks, I not only lost inches, but more importantly body fat - 3 percentage points! There were so many work out options, I never got bored. Classes, the latest equipment and ""gadgets"", free weights, bands, pilates, all kinds of cardio equipment. Even massage and chiropractic care! I didn't diet either. I followed Christine's advice about eating. Just stop eating before I get full. Save the rest for later! I can eat what I want (within reason of course) and still see great results! The environment at Kor is wonderful, the gym is clean and every one is there for the same reason - to get fit. Oh, and the best part of all is I gained strength and power. I play softball and am now able to see the softball go over the infielders head. I am signing up for another 6 weeks with Christine and officially joined the gym for the next year.
Pros: Atmosphere, music, workout options, staff
Cons: A little pricey compared to some of the other gyms, but you get what you pay for!
