They do not have enough wait staff to keep things moving. Our dinner took entirely too long. There were tons of empty tables but we could not be seated because they only had 4 waitors in the entire place. Then, it took way to long for the food to come out. They advertise a special 3-course menu for $9.99 but there are NO choices. There is only ONE that is actually $9.99. THEN, to top it off, they ran out of ice cream - - - which is 1/2 of the dessert included in the $9.99. How do you run out of ice cream when that is what you are advertising and then not warn you before you order the 3- course meal. By then, you're already stuck paying the whole amount even though they don't have what you ordered. This is the second consecutive time I've had terrible service at an Applebees (other in Raleigh). Both were entirely due to understaffing, rather than the wait staff's fault. I will not be returning.
